Still Waters Cancer Retreat

At the intersection of faith and cancer, Still Waters provides a space for those touched by cancer to process, connect, and worship.

Our heart is to encourage those walking through the unthinkable as they live out and wrestle with their faith. We held our first retreat in the summer of 2018, and we've been so grateful for the authentic conversations and friendships we've built in the cancer community since then. The retreat has been our main focus because while various retreats and expeditions exist for young adult cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers, none of them fully addresses the spiritual side of cancer. We want to change that. Think: part-church-retreat, part-summer-camp, and part-conference.

Whether you're a patient now, you're a young adult who went through childhood cancer, you're a survivor of young adult cancer, or you love someone touched by cancer, you are welcome to come and talk honestly about the hopes, fears, and doubts that cancer can bring. We'll enjoy activities by the water, learn together in fellowship, and ultimately worship the God who leads us beside the still waters and restores our souls, even though we walk through the valley (Psalm 23).
